Tab Trade - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
